I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

My Lazy Cats and the Cat Wheel
I completed my cat wheel, although I set it up outside in the cat yard rather tentatively, wrapping the pipe stand against a tree trunk with cable wire. I just wanted to get it up to see if they'd use it. So far----naaaaah, except for Miss Daisy, who went on a slow run last night.
My cats lack ambition to better themselves. They like their body images just fine the way they are. They feel no need to get hot and sweaty by pushing themselves to jog in this heat.
The cat wheel is made of entirely scraps I had around here. It's unbelievably cool, in my humble opinion.
Oh man. I should get on that thing.
I'd have to crunch up.
Photos of the four cats, all from Albany, I took up yesterday for fixing. This male cat was fixed yesterday, the fourth tame stray to show up at a North Albany house. But, at least now he is neutered. I love the sisters who take care of these strays that show up. When I took him home last night, they invited me to stay and have supper, which, of course, I did. They're very nice women and also entertaining and fun to be around. When we parted, they said, as usual, as I began to drive off..."until the next stray"--a goodbye worthy of our relationship, bonded by the strays that show at their house. Hahahaha.
Adult male, fixed yesterday, from a location just north of down town Albany.
Black and white female, from the house north of downtown Albany. Besides the female and male fixed yesterday at this house, there are two more adult males, three teen males, plus an adult female and her just born three kittens needing fixed. Nine more needing fixed there.
Fourth female fixed from the Alleged Collector who is not a collector. Still one adult female and six kittens to go at this place.
