I've heard rumors for two years now that a cat hater lives in the Lexington Estate development in Albany, which is east of Waverly, and is trapping and killing neighborhood house cats.
Another woman e-mailed me today, after being told by SafeHaven there is someone in that area trapping cats, to see if it is me, which it isn't. I won't even adopt out cats to anyone living in that area, because of the neighborhood freakazoid.
Whether he's outright killing them, abusing them, dumping them or selling them to research, nobody knows. But he's out there, killing house pets. No house pet is safe in the Lexington Estates area.
I told residents who call or e-mail about losing their cat in that area they need to go door to door, gather information and get this thing solved. Don't expect me to do it. There are a lot of mean people and freaks out there. One lives in the Lexington Estates area of Albany. So, if you like animals, don't move into that area or find the freak and run him out or get him locked up.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
