Portland Clinic Day

Hey, 30 Lebanon cats fixed today, up in Portland at the FCCO.

Strangely, sitting in a parking lot there, killing time, I read that federal troops will be sent to war ravaged Portland.

War ravaged?   Um, where?   Shocked?  I was.

I messaged a Portland friend and asked her where the war ravaging was going on.   I really needed something to do and wanted to go look.  She had no idea.   Later on, I was talking to my brother in Idaho (I get bored, waiting on the cats, and call pretty much everyone) and mentioned it to him, that I can't find anything resembling war ravaging here.  He said "oh they're talking about the four old ladies or so in front of the ICE building."

Anyhow, it's finally cooled off where he lives.  He's gotten in good shape this summer mowing lawns.  But now winter is coming and he's worried what he'll do for exercise.  Me too.

I'm home now, and 11 of the cats were taken back to Lebanon and the colony caretaker to recuperate by the couple who helped me drive all the cats up to the clinic.   It was so easy with them helping transport.

So I have 19 of them here, and about ready to go get them settled in for the night.

Signing off.
