All Waterloo Tomorrow

The Waterloo folks rounded up three of the latest dumps there, drop offs, however they arrive, desperate for food.   The orange tabby is quite stunning and was first fed in the park, then found his way to residential.  The other two come from a neighbor who was going to dump them and instead, his kids brought them to this lady and asked her to save them.

Aniken, boy

Asoka, girl

Pumpkin, assume he's a boy due to his color but I could be wrong.  Yes, a boy.

There are several more of these young adults, at least three more, maybe as many as five more, who need fixed.  Four more of them are fed in the park and likely were dumped there, as a litter.  But now are in the late teenage stage.

I have three kittens here I drop trapped there also, but one will have to wait to be fixed.  So I'm taking the Siamese, who will likely get a home, calling her Banjo for the records, and the torbie, as she is really upset being in a trap.  I'm calling her Scribble for the records.  The black tux, doodle, will have to wait on a spay neuter spot for now.

Scribble, the torbi

Banjo, a boy

Doodle, the black tux, also a boy

After I brought the young adults back, a friend and I headed down to McKercher park.   She just wanted to see it.  It was its usual gorgeous self.  Its a county park along the Calapooia River, down outside Brownsville and has a lovely swimming hole.

I was just sitting on a rock watching the water skippers.

The weather was beautiful today, sun out, warm, sort of.   Made me feel Rocky Mountain High.  Just remembering John Denver for a moment there.  It was so nice I wanted to find a lake and dive in, but the lake is half drained now, well not half, I'm exaggerating.  Anyhow, nice autumn day!

  1. I am glad that the neighbours kids don't take after their parent. Well done as always.
I am glad you had a nice day - and an interlude at that beautiful spot.

  3. Glad to hear you got a nice day in the park. I hate hearing about all these dumped cats, but at least you're doing what you can for them.
