Both Mega Millions and Power Ball jackpots are extremely high. Not sure how high. Up near half billion or more on both I think.
Odds are astronomically against winning, on the down side.
Being poor and short on cash, of course I doled out two bucks for a ticket. That's how we po'r folk dream. That and about getting an inheritance.
Well anyhow, do you think this freight train racing through town yesterday had an engineer in a big hurry to get off work? Actually I don't think there is a speed limit on trains through town. I could be wrong.
I haven't looked at the jackpot lately. Maybe you'll win. That would be awesome.

ReplyDeleteNo lottery tickets for me - though himself buys one each week. And occasionally has a small win.
Fingers crossed for you. There would be a speed limit for the train and it would be a brave driver who exceeded it these days, especially through a town. However, the train does seem to be travelling very fast. At least it will clear the crossing more quickly.
