A Year on the Lam

I returned the cats this morning, including the torbi tux girl who turned out already spayed and microchipped too.  I gave the barn owners the chip company number and the chip number found by the clinic.

They called the chip company.  Low and behold they had the cat listed as lost from back in February.

They contacted the owner, who contacted the barn owners and picked her up.  She told the barn owners she had been missing since last Thanksgiving.   A year on the lam.  The owner lives about three miles from where she was found.

That's a good happy ending.  And to go home right at Thanksgiving too.  Maybe I'll become a Thanksgiving believer yet.

This was her in my bathroom last night.   I let her out of the trap for some love as I could see she wanted some.  Boy did she ever.
