I like to take photos. Now I am using my phone more than usual to take photos.
I have even been watching videos on a facebook phone camera school page to try to improve.
I usually practice at the county park. Here are some of my latest.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

Over and Done
I went off to Portland yesterday with 13 Lebanon cats. I thought I had 14 Lebanon cats in the car. Ha! I accidentally forgot to load one ...

I went and saw my old friend--Waldo Lake. I can't be alone all the time, here in this house. I do love my cats. But getting out is a ...

I made it back to Waldo. Monday I took five cats from Gills Landing colony to be fixed and tested at the Salem clinic. All five, four gi...

Our weather is far from August normal lately. After the brief heat wave, it went to predicted extreme rain, which didn't happen, but mi...
The bark photos are great and the dandelion seeds seem well focused. I guess those small vertical trunk like things are a fungi.
ReplyDeleteSome sort of very tiny fungi. They were growing in the moss on a rock.
DeleteLove your bee-shots. And the dandelion seeds. And the tiny funghi. I very, very rarely use the phone camera.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't using it much but my latest ebay camera, the same old old model I adore, is having some issues now too. They are very hard to find now, being discontinued, but cheaper and cheaper, being old, if I do find that model for sale.
DeleteI like all of your pictures, but then nature photos are always my favorite. I still have an old flip phone that takes bad pictures, so I have to haul around my camera. Someday I will join everyone else and get a smart phone.
ReplyDeleteI am so lucky my brother gave me one of his phones and I"m on his plan.
DeleteOh, wow! Those are amazing. Perhaps I should look into these classes. Mind sharing a link? Of course, knowing me I'll never go there in favor of writing. ~grin~ I'm such a goofball. Friends keep telling me to check out videos on Scrivener writing software and instead I just keep slogging along using only its most basic features. Anyway, is that lichen or fungus in the images following the blooming dandelion? Gorgeous. Makes me think of fairies. Heh... You should enter a photo contest or something. Seriously. Be well!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can share a facebook link on blogger. Not classes, just video instructionals and tips he posts on the facebook page. It is called Iphone Photography School, on facebook. You can find it easy. I think its a fungus, they're super tiny, growing within moss, on a rock.
