Dryer Days are Gone

Yesterday I was sore all over.  The new dryer is in place and working great.  But my body has not recovered.  I could barely get out of bed.  Back pain, neck pain, sore all over basically.  So I didn't do much of anything.

Isn't it beautiful!

The Habitat dryer on the left and the non working Admiral on the right in my garage

The Habitat dryer in the back of my car, ready for return.  It's not that hard to slide a dryer across a smooth surface.  It wasn't that hard to tip it towards the end of the car.  What was hard, was getting it in from that point.

Getting that Habitat dryer into the back caused me such sore everything, I was unable to do the same to rid myself of the non working dryer.  I had to take it apart to get it in the back of my car.  The pieces are light.  That didn't happen until Monday, however.  The parts went to metal recycle.
I finally got my tree parts out of the rafters and slid together and put up.  It's a fake tree I got at the Habitat Store several years ago for $20, and it already had lights on it.  But several strings on the tree have stopped working since then. Those strings were very hard to remove they were wound so tightly around the plastic branches.  It's still a good tree though and the cats cannot climb it!

When getting it down from the rafters I found evidence a cat had been free roaming my garage.  Grrrr....It's likely one of three neighbor cats owned by the people in the house behind me.  Two of them practically live in my yard and probably enter my garage when the door is open to make themselves at home.  They include this clueless hunter......

It's a nice tree, I think.

The girls, Wren and Tilly (formerly named Cheetah) are so happy in their new home now!  Best home they could get!  Their new person sent me this photo last night.

I confess I did not think your tree would be much, but it is lovely. Admiral never had much of a foothold here, except in laundromats. Two very comfortable cats. Btw, Mother bought the external drops for the mites for the two cats today.

    1. That's a relief Andrew. If she got Revolution, she needs to do it every two weeks for the heavily infested one. I get the dog Revolution, then give .2 cc twice a month for ear mites, at the advice of a vet. Would think for body mites, same thing.

    2. Dog Revolution is twice the concentration per volume. So you check the volume of the cat dose, and apply half that volume of the dog dose, in other words. Sometimes that confuses people so I rarely try to explain it to people since it can be dangerous in the wrong hands. (or brains)
