Linn County Residents Sicker, Fatter Than State Average

Click post title to go to article. 66% of Linn County residents are supposedly obese. Those numbers have trickled down I believe I read from 2005. The numbers might be even worse now.

We're sicker here too.

I need to start exercising so as to NOT be one of these grim embarrassing statistics here.

I also think a lack of personal health habits might go along with the animal overpopulation problem here. Look at this craigslist ad, someone who got a kitten as a daughters birthday present even though the landlord where they live does not allow pets. Got it free, now selling the kitten for $40.

This adorable kitten is approximately 3 months old, is litter trained and is quite the loving snuggler. He was a birthday gift for my daughter, but we are not able to keep him in our apartment. She is asking for a $40 rehoming fee. He comes with a full sized, covered litter box and two full size food and water dishes. It will be hard to let him go so we want to make sure he goes to a good home. We need to find him a home ASAP so that we do not get in trouble with our landlord. Please email above if you are interested.
