The frig is coming tomorrow. The problem male, aggravating Sam into pee marking, is being neutered today!
I thought the big boy would be at least partially tame. But he isn't. And he is mad as hell, too. Maybe a good nights sleep, some water and food will help, as well as some catnip. Sam seems to know he's caught and now neutered. The usual drill. I think Sam wonders what took me so long this time, to notice he was getting harrassed and bent out of shape due to bullying.
I told Sam, "Sorry, buddy. My head was buried deep in the sand this time around. Sorry."
Toby is coming home tomorrow.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

ReplyDeleteGood old Sam...fine when there are no unneutered males around...he;'s such a sweetheart otherwise! Do you think Pearl will be fine without Toby? Its a shame - these people send you wonderful photos of the cats they adopt, then a few weeks later you get the cats back.
ReplyDeleteWell, there really wasn't much of a choice, since Pearl was attacking him if he even showed himself, poor little boy, being abused by his own mom. So, it's better he is returned than Pearl. They think Pearl will be fine there on her own.
ReplyDeleteguess she's over her post partum depression then..
ReplyDeleteI think she had post partum psychosis, the kill your kitten kind!
ReplyDeleteluckily we didn't name him "Bill"....
