What I Should Have Said

I was thinking about what I could have said, should have said to some comments I received lately. I never think of such things until later.

To the neighbor, who apparently counts the cats she sees in my window. When she told me she counted five cats in my window, I should have said: "Oh my gawd, only five? Are you sure it wasn't twelve? Oh my gawd."

To the Christian woman who told me Obama is a Muslim intent on destroying America: Hysterical giggling that goes on and on, interupted only with "That's a good one." Then more uncontrolled giggling.

Or what about - to the neighbor - you only saw five? Check the google map - you can see sixteen in the window there!"

to the christian woman: "Yes, and I understand they are removing all bibles from public schools and forcing kids to learn the koran, instead...." )or the Holy Qur'an....)

  3. Google street view is slightly invasive isn't it. That's Oci in the window, there for the whole world to see. Man, and she once lived in a junked out Millersburg trailer. Now, she's world famous! That's what google street view can do for a kitty! Wish I'd been standing next to her. Naked with my mouth open, forming silent profanities, maybe a shotgun in the process of going off, at the street view camera car. Now that would have been a google street view to remember!

its a shame you didn't know they were photographing - you could have put a dozen cats in the window with a sign underneath: ALL UP FOR ADOPTION/EMAIL ME AT.....

  5. I know! If I had known they were in town, I would have driven slowly in front of them, beside them, run repeatedly in front of their camera with spay neuter slogan signs and my adoption website, sporting a silly grin. I would have ended my contact by mooning their camera, spay neuter slogans written on my bare butt of course.

The 4th

Happy the 4th is over.   It's the fireworks.   They terrify some of my cats.  Not the old deaf ones.   Gigi hid under the cat stairs in...
