I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

E-mail I Sent SafeHaven
To SafeHaven: "I ran into someone at Countryside who adopted two kittens, nine weeks old, from SafeHaven end of August, early September UNFIXED. They're still not fixed. She told me the Savehaven employee told her they should not be fixed until they are six months old. What is up with that? Why is that misinformation being given out there, by your employees and why are you adopting out unfixed kittens? There is no reason to continue trying to fix cats in this county if the biggest shelter in this county is adopting out unfixed kittens. So I want to know this, if you're still doing this, because if you are, I am going to stop fixing cats here. Money pit syndrome. Nobody really interested in change, that sort of thing. there is no reason to sacrifice my life working to fix cats, when paid shelter people are adopting kittens out unfixed. That would be really really self destructive and stupid. So I do need to know this."
