The FedEx truck rolled up today, just as I was headed out, with the latest three from the Ty Tigers Abandons for their barn home. "I have a package for you," the delivery man said, "and what good timing. Looks like you are leaving." I said "Perfect timing. A package for me? Woohoo!"
Since the barn owner was waiting on me, I only had time to quickly rip the package open inside. "Woohoo!" I screamed to my cats, who hightailed it the other direction. I was jumping up and down screaming, "oh my gawd." And "Best brother in the world." Those sorts of things.
A new camera. I HAVE A NEW CAMERA!
It's just like the old one only a later version. I almost peed my pants in excitement. All my soreness and tiredness and darkness lifted away.
I took off for the barn home woohooing inside and sometimes out loud, too. I'm sure the three ferals in my car thought I was nuts. Oh well, you know. Like cats care who is nuts among us humans and who isn't, as long as we serve them.
It also felt pretty good to find out I wasn't forgotten on my birthday. I get lonely day in and day out, then I start getting down. What a whiner I was. Oh my gawd, I love this camera already. I can't believe it. Oh my gosh.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
