Nervous

I am nervous about my cat schedule this month.   Almost all the appointments are bunched within a few days near the end of the month.

I do have 8 spots Wednesday, in Corvallis, at the Rad clinic.

I lined up a few from here and there, for these 8 spots.  Three are sponsored by a donor for a huge new colony in Lebanon.  At least I'm told its huge.  Over 30 cats and kittens, maybe a lot more than that, hard to know.   The guy doesn't communicate too accurately and by that I mean with photos.

I was going to take two from a man in Lebanon I'd caught cats for before, but they turned out to be a neighbors cats, who does want them fixed, plus their mom, who just had another litter a month ago.  So hopefully all three adults from there will be fixed Wednesday.

Its doubtful the Holley area cat, who showed up at someone's place, will be recaught.  But you never know  The lady trapped her, after the cat came in through her cat door, then released her.

Another spot I reserved for the large Brownsville colony man, where 31 have been fixed, but I'm not certain he is actually using my trap, to prefeed in, then selectively trap with, since that takes effort.  So....we shall see.

I'm nervous about the end of the month, starting the 22nd, when that LEbanon lady who feeds like six places, has five spots, but has no intention of trapping for them, wants me to do it all.   Why I asked, since I can't be be six places at once, and they come out of brush only for her.   I have no idea why.  I don't think she can handle trapping.  She claims its due to her bad hip, yet she mows and weed eats and cArries large bags around.   A kitten in a small trap?  No can do, she says.   Give me a break. Before she said she couldn't trap because she worked a few hours a few days a week.  Always excuses.  Everyone has them seems like.

The 24th, five more spots at RAD, but these should be easy enough.  Homeless camp cats from Cascadia.  Tame too.   All I have to do is go get them and return them, and the bill even will be paid by someone else.

But its the 27th I'm worried about.  Guy with that huge colony was given 35 spots by the FCCO.   Me to trap and transport although I'm hoping he can do most of the trapping.   Someone else has agreed to help transport that many up if that many get caught.   But that is a tremendous amount of work--the trapping, the care of them before they go, loading them to go, spending the day in Portland somewhere, the care after.  And then, that caretaker who feeds multiple places has five spots that Monday in Salem, and says she can't trap, and thinks maybe I can trap them before the big engagement of the 27th, and hold them for Monday.  I'll probably have to tell her no, and that the only way is if she can hold them.

Anyhow, a lot of work coming up soon.
