I caught 29 cats and kittens today at the Lebanon colony.
It was a zoo. The morning started out bad when a neighbor tried to say something to him and mister colony caretaker went off on him so instantly and so verbally violently I was shocked. And then I got mad. How dare he involve me in his conflicts. He tried to tell me the awful things they'd done and I told him I don't want to hear. I am here to catch your cats and I don't care about petty conflicts.
The neighbor lady then came over to try to smooth things out. She was very polite and sweet to him. I tried to encourage neighborly relations and to quit with trying to find tiny little things to hate.
Oh boy. I was there about 2 1/2 hours and caught 15 cats and kittens. I came home then and crashed into a nap.
I set up the cats on the cat shelves and Keithas Kitties came over and took the two white boys and black girl kittens.
When I woke up I was groggy and wanted to sleep more. I loaded more traps and went back over about 6:30 and caught 14 more, five of them kittens. The kittens are set up in the bathroom, too tiny to go be fixed, while the rest are in the garage.
I'm not going over in the morning, just tomorrow night and his daughter will catch some that he's tamed mostly for the rest of the spots open for Saturday.
My spots were dropped to 30 and I"ll have 30 from there, plus extras--the kittens too little to go.
Who in the world breeds cats like that and doesn't work to get them fixed before there are so many? I'm pretty pissed at all the people I run into who do feed unfixed cats right now.
I was about to go to bed, and was opening a box, leaning it against my knee, and once again dislocated my left kneecap. Oh my gosh, that was instant extreme pain. I was able to pop it back into place but some pain lingers so I'm icing it.

I don't know if they'll do this one. For this clinic they want them at least four months old. |
These are the ones from this morning. I'll get photos tomorrow of the 14 from this evening.
