Favorite Thing

 I got a gift card for Amazon for Christmas from a friend.

This is what I bought, after seeing it on sale.  It's a small oval device that projects a light show from the opaque oval on its top.  The box has many settings possible, for movement or no movement, sound (bluetooth connection), color variations.  I control it remotely. 

I can change the colors or just the dominant color.  It's so relaxing!   It has a timer preset, if I want to fix an auto turnoff, for night.

Its fast become a favorite thing.  I only have a few favorite cherished things.  Mostly items of clothing or little things people I love gave me at some point.

I almost ran into Bob last night when taking the garbage bin to the curb.  He was coming up the driveway.  I had not seen him in quite some time.   He's the orange tabby boy who had such a horribly torn ear when I trapped him. The clinic did an amazing job stitching him up.   You almost can't tell to see it that his ear was so badly injured.

He was being followed by the huge tabby male I never trapped to be fixed, not knowing if he's a pet from someone on the next street.   I still don't know.  First time I've seen him since last summer.  I texted my neighbor who said her son saw Bob and the tabby in her backyard yesterday and she hadn't seen either in awhile.  Maybe they are buddies now that Bob is neutered.   

The low 20's cold will continue into next week, then we will get rain again.
