No thunderstorms at all today, just a lot of rain. Lots of rain, heavy wet soggy rain.
More of the same old.
But at least no weak tornadoes or anything else scary.
So anyhow....just another rainy day in Oregon.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
Happy the 4th is over. It's the fireworks. They terrify some of my cats. Not the old deaf ones. Gigi hid under the cat stairs in...
Glad that you avoided scary weather at least...
ReplyDeleteYes, I guess that's good.
DeleteI wonder why Oregon is such a desirable place to live when the weather, as you report, is not very good.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of people who like rain, apparently. Also people are moving here for the legal pot. I was born in Oregon. But the long long gray wet winters get to me horribly. Then in the short time of sun, the recreation sites are terribly overcrowded. The state is now requiring permits to hike in many areas and even to stop at Multnomah Falls, in the gorge, due to overuse and no parking.
DeleteThere are few places to move to in the US that have good weather I suppose. Arizona and New Mexico get incredibly hot summers but at least its dry heat. The southeast has incredibly humid heat and is overcrowded. Southern California is overcrowded and expensive. I talked to one woman who moved here because she thought it was a laid back hippy state where everyone loves everybody else. I'm not sure where she got that impression. We are being inundated by out of staters from cities moving here by the score.
DeleteSorry about the deluge. Hopefully things will dry out for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Hoping for sun. Soon!
DeleteI'm glad you're safe. ~hugs~ Again, I'd swoop you up and bring you to Southwest Ohio if possible. Aside from lacking oceanfront access here I'm very content. :)
ReplyDeleteSW Ohio. I'll have to tour it on google maps.
DeleteI'd like to know what you think. :D We're in the city of Franklin within Warren County.
DeleteThat narrows it down some. I saw all the "C" cities you have.
DeleteWe had a little down pour this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
