Problem Child Knee

My knee still won't straighten.  I keep trying to straighten it.  I jiggle it, with it out in front of me, when I sit on the futon, this way and that way, but it still won't straighten out.  When I try to straighten it or put weight wrong on it with its angle wrong, the pain makes me yell or it sucks my breath away.

I can manage on one crutch now mostly.

It takes me all day to clean all the litter boxes, so its not like I have nothing to do.

What makes me stressed out is there are allegedly more kittens at the park.  Three more.   I want to somehow trap them and find them a safe place.  They're all apparently girls.  Likely they were dumped about three or four weeks ago.  Two adult boys were left by homeless car campers in the park from Alaska.  It goes on and on.

The other thing stressing me is that unfinished Cascadia colony.  I was texted by one of the guys up there I could return and catch more, but I'm not sure it was him texting me or the other guy that bothers me constantly from up in that area using the colony man's phone.  The latter guy doesn't give a rip I've got an injured knee, doesn't register with his brain when I text him back in response about that, and now has found other cats needing fixed in other homeless camps in that area.  I guess he thinks he's doing me a favor to find unfixed cats, or that he now works for me.  Lol.  Isn't life funny sometimes?   It's a constant there, let me tell you, and trying to keep up anywhere is a challenge but I kind of enjoy the challenge.

Shorty and I are kind of phone friends now.  She admitted she lied to me about the adult Siamese girl, to get me to take her because she is so worried for her safety and future, since she is close to 80 and figures something will happen to her soon.  Yeah, something will happen to me sooner than her, I thought.  She's tougher than nails.

Here is the great news!!!  I scored a knee doctor appointment TOMORROW from the referral out of Urgent Care.  So it was in fact worth it to go there Saturday.  It was totally worth it.   I have to get to Corvallis to the appointment because here in town the orthopedic people places are booked out into November.  But the place over there, an Athletic ortho place, right by the college football stadium and run by my network, has an opening.  Can you believe that?   Its a place where athletes go.   My brother said to be the athlete I am, the champion cat trapper/netter.   Ok, I said, I can do that.  It didn't work out so well last time, last year, when I went to an Ortho place with a doctor who apparently isn't fond of cats.

Anyhow, even if I get fluid withdrawn or something, whatever help I can get, I will take.

In other news, my niece, an army women's health doctor, has been flown to Germany to help care for Afghan refugees.  I could not be prouder.
