111 Degree Oregon Day Spent Like a Cat

The temperature in my town got up to 111 degrees, or so, maybe a degree beyond that.

I wasn't upright to check most of the day.  It's 7:00 p.m. now and still 108 degrees out.

I spent the day like a cat.  I laid around.

I readjusted position every now and then.  Used the litter box, lol.  Laid out again.  Finished a book.  The cats adjusted around me.  Nobody wanted to move much.  Not me, for sure.  The heat hits me like hot bricks from hell, if I step outside.

Tomorrow its supposed to get to a mere 106.  Yikes.  Sweater weather!

Wow, that is nearly 45 degrees. I think we've reached that only once here in my memory.

  2. Excellent decision to channel your inner cat. Keep doing it.

    1. Yup, intend to. Another hot one today, but then it cools off some, to upper 80's lower 90's. Will welcome anything cooler than over 100.
