I took five Quartzville road cats up to be fixed today at the Salem clinic. They also must be tested to qualify for barn homes. This will make 15 cats fixed from this situation, with two or three to go. That is of the contained ones.
There are Sweet Home folks now trying to catch the last one up there, and the kitten five miles closer on same road. Both have been seen again.
I am so happy others are going at it. My neck is still messed up.
These photos of the five aren't so great. I took them in the dark before leaving this morning. I only trapped two of the five--Sissy and Tickle. The other three were caught by a Sweet Home woman and being held in Lebanon. Tickle has been in my bathroom alone since Poof, Julian and Boulder left Saturday.

This is Chunk. He's large. Lady holding him thinks he's a boy. |
|
Bad photo of Missy. A gray tux. Lady thinks she's a she. We shall see. |
|
Also a bad photo of Prissy, another gray tux, also thought to be a she.

This is Sissy, the next to last one I caught up there. Looks girl to me. |

Tickle, sex unknown, the one I caught last Sunday night. |
Tickle is funny. He's been in my bathroom a week and points out his wet food is gone by placing a cat toy in the dish. It's not once he's done this, its three or four times.
He likes to play, too.
I'll choose one of the four others to join him as a buddy in the bathroom.
I netted Tweetie yesterday, tried to cage her. She tore up cage fast. I took her out in a towel, gave her sub cu fluids. she was so dehydrated. She escaped my hold as I was clipping her nails. Later on, I found her sleeping on my pillow on my bed, something she's never done before. It tore at my heart. I'll just keep trying to give her fluids. She'll last as long as she lasts.
