Bright

How about some summer bright?

Like these volunteer sunflowers, born of dropped bird seed.

Or my hydrangea?   It's spectacular this year.

And how about the three remaining fungi brats in the bathroom?  They're doing fine.

  1. Thank you for this lovely post. ~hugs~ Isn't it amazing how nature can thrive? My non-native annual snapdragon plants always seem to seed one or two thriving volunteers. :) Be well, my dear.

    1. The bird seed sunflowers are the best! And seem to grow better than the ones I plant and "try" to grow out front.

The hydrangeas are great and not burnt as so often happens here.

  5. Once, my mom made me throw a couple of sunflowers over the fence to make room for something she wanted to plant. For the next 7 or 8 years, the entire back row behind the entire block of houses was full of sunflowers. What we did was against the rules, but it sure had a good result.

    1. That is a cool story, Akasha. I love sunflowers. They seem like optimism and happiness put forth in flower.
