Art for Cats---Animal Rescue and Care Funds' Art Auction

If you ever wanted to hang something on your wall that looks nice (art), how about doing so now?

Animal Rescue and Care Fund, a great Portland Rescue, who just recently took in more valley cats---the Lacomb gray mom and her four kittens plus the Lacomb black mom and her two just born black kittens, is doing an art auction, to raise needed funds.  Helping them helps me, because they have taken in so many cats from the valley, to find them homes.

Here's the online auction site, where you can bid!

See and bid on the items by clicking here.

This is a paragraph from ARCF's auction fundraiser facebook page:

"Welcome to our 2017 Art from the Heart silent auction! More than 40 artists have donated their handmade works to help raise funds to support our rescue work. We have works of painting, drawing, photography, collage, ceramics and jewelry--something for everyone! You can see all the art and start pre-bidding online at April 3 to April 28.

The works are on display at Cat Hospital of Portland, 8065 SE 13th Ave, Portland, OR 97202. You are welcome to view the works in person any time the hospital is open, Monday through Saturday 8 am to 6 pm.

On April 29, we'll conclude the bidding with a silent auction and reception from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Cat Hospital. Bidding will end at 8:00 pm. Please plan to join us and invite all your friends who love art, animals or both."

  1. Some amazing work there. I hope the auction goes really, really well.

  2. Nice items! When working a lucrative job, I spent a fortune at an auction for the Progressive Animal Welfare Society. Best wishes! Maybe I can swing something, though we had another expensive plumbing misadventure for the second time in the last month. ~sigh~ Best wishes!
