I think I broke a toe a few days ago. It's still swollen and black and blue and painful. But there isn't much one can do for a broken toe, if it's broken.
I was out in the garage doing stuff in the dark a few days ago when it happened, hit my toe hard on something during forward motion, so it caught and yanked and twisted as I slammed against my car, which broke my fall. Quite painful. I've been using ice on it, but it's not a pretty thing to behold. I take Aleve too. And I curse occasionally if I forget and bend that foot when walking.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.....not a broken toe three days before i get there! did you try to splint it? google that and see what you can do. I've broken toes before and they swell and turn colours and hurt like hell....
ReplyDeleteDon't worry. I did it almost a week ago. By the time you get here it will have ten days to have healed. It's now a light purple, very beautiful color.
