Congressman Wu is telling people the health care reform bill now going through Congress that will be paid for by taking billions from medicare, won't really harm those on medicare now.
What bullshit. Of course it will.
In Oregon, because of extraordinarily low medicare reimbursement rates, doctors limit the number of medicare patients they take, and medicare patients feel like the plague. I'm one, I know. You lose your doctor and go ahead, try to find one accepting a (gulp) medicare patient. They hate us in Oregon because of the low reimbursement rates. Raiding medicare to pay for a health care bill will make matters a trillion times worse here in Oregon.
