Just as I was headed out the door to go pick the big gray long hair up, the Albany business called. They trapped another one. The clinic agreed to do both males today.
I get home, and there is a message from the 15th street woman. Her neighbor caught the Lynx Point male they've fed since he was a kitten, living under their rental when they moved in. He will be fixed tomorrow.

The emotional blackmail never ends. "Take these cats we have been feeding in OR ELSE." The OR ELSE is always a threat to kill the cats or have someone else do it. These threats are often interlaced with platitudes and are terrible on my heart and soul.
There were several yesterday of such calls or e-mails. Already today, two more. It's almost too much for me a lot of the time. I just want to cry sometimes. And yell at people. I have been having trouble dealing with the stress lately. I badly need to get away and have some fun. I don't know anyone who wants to have some fun with me anymore.
I would LOVE for you to come on our annual "Girlfriends Cruise" this year. We are going in November from 'Nawlins and headed to Cozumel on Carnival. No, we are not rich-my best bud is a travel agent and finds us the BEST deals every year and I scrimp and save for our annual blowout. "What Happens with the Girlfriends STAYS with the Girlfriends!"

I would love to come, but I bet even being frugal that might cost a lot. Do you have a ballpark figure?
