I don't know how many millions the Oregon stimulus bill cost, but cuts are being made to the budget as we borrowed millions to stimulate the Oregon economy. So far, 16 jobs have been created. I'll try to curb my enthusiasm for the effectiveness of the spending gala!
Am I stimulated yet?
Heck yes. I'm tingling.

and do each of those sixteen jobs pay, say , half million anually>?? If so, i'm moving to oregon and getting me one of those stimulating jobs.....
ReplyDeleteI think they pay actually not very much. Not a million, that's for sure. I don't know how many million Oregon spent on stimulus, the state, not the money from the fed plan, but they could have created at least 175 really high paying jobs, if they spent 175 million even. They could be paying me to round up strays and a full time vet or two or three, to fix them. Now that would benefit the state a lot. I think I'll write that project idea up and submit it.
