Logistic Challenge. My Brother says To Start Looking for a Place in Corvallis Area

My brother said he understands how much I want to return to Benton County and the Corvallis area. He said to go ahead and see if I can find a small place that looks suitable and he'll start getting in gear to sell this place. I'm happy about this, very happy.

I have worried about growing older here in Albany. There's no decent cheap grocery stores and if my car breaks down, I am on my own, in trying to find a way to get what I need, including heavy bags of cat litter. It's impossible. I'm alone here.

I'm hopeful about finding somewhere in the Corvallis area, although I know it's tough to find anything cheap enough. Then there's the logistics thing, about timing, getting a place and selling this one at near the same time. I hope we can figure out a way to do it. I'd love to be back in my home turf, near things familiar, with the parks and everything I'm used to, over there. I'm very hopeful about this. Something to look forward to, to believe in. I won't be in Albany forever. That's enough to make me smile wide!

If anyone knows a cheap small house for sale in the Corvallis area, let me know. I am looking for something small, like 600 square feet, around that, nothing big, with a small backyard preferably fenced. Likewise, anyone interested in buying a two bedroom ranch style house in Albany, let me know.

When I think of you in Albany, Jody, I think of all the kittens whose lives you saved....I think of the starvation kids and Sam.....would you have found those babies anywhere else? And the bottle babies...and Ghosty, Angel and Spirit.....where did you find Mickey and Hope? When youwere in Albany or somewhere else? And little Feather, from the rest area...And Angel, the tripod, now in a safe haven. If I could remember all the names I'd name them all....Even if you hate it here, these cats and kittens probably all love you for the fact that you were here.
I'm sure there are plenty of cats needing rescuing where you want to go, too...I just hope there is someone here, to take your place, when you finally get to your heavenly home elsewhere.
I;m sure you'll find someplace to make you happy. Just don't regret the time you spent here - i'm sure the cats don't. Who knows - you might find more adopters for some of the cats elsewhere, too. It seems that no one in Albany wants any more cats or kittens for themselves...

  2. Do you have family in Corvallis?
What brought you to Albany? You've done so much good in Albany like Time Travel said. Just curious. K

Strikes!

No, not the kind of strikes a pitcher throws.  Labor strikes are going on. In Albany, its the teachers on strike against the Greater Albany ...
