Dryer

I replaced the broken part and put the dryer back together and it is still scraping om the metal motor edge. I don't know why. Now it's either replace the dryer or get a repairman here, which often costs as much as replacing the dryer.

But now...........DRYER WORKS!!! I called a repairman, who came immediately. $60 and it is fixed. He had to bend that glide bracket I had just installed slightly. But then it was still hitting. But, it was no longer hitting on the motor fan bracket, but somewhere else. The metal frame of the dryer was slightly bowed. They're flimsy. He bowed it back in place to the dryer no longer scraped in the new place.

I will never lean on or place anything heavy atop a dryer again. This can bend the thin metal housing, and throw everything off kilter, causing the cylinder to scrape on whatever, and put pressure on the glide brackets.

DRYER WORKING! Sounds great, too, nice a quiet again.
