The FIV positive yard stray.
This is a photo of the gray tux female taken this morning. This cat was already spayed, prompting me to question the rescue woman about who turned her over to her. I also searched photos of cats I'd taken in to be fixed from the general area of where she said the old couple live who turned over the cat to her. And I came up with.....this photo, below...
This is the same cat, a photo I took of her, like I always do, back last August, when I took her in to be spayed. She is owned, or was. I am in the process of looking for the number of the man who owned her in August.
The rescue woman from Albany did not have the exact address of the old couple who brought her the female they claimed was living on their porch. The cat turned out to be already spayed. But she had an approximate address.
I went through the photos of cats I'd taken in to be fixed from that area. Low and behold I had a photo of her. She was fixed last August. The man who owned her has 12 cats. I got them all fixed for him.
I told her where he lives and she is deciding what she'll do now. It's not my issue. Interesting, though.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
