I am going to my dentist today, to confirm which tooth is the problem tooth. Might have been a mix up on which tooth. I thought it was the second to last molar rotted into the pulp, but my dentist thought it was the last one, and if it is, I'll have it pulled.
Anyhow, am still upset over Bart's death while I was away but there's nothing I can do to make him come back now, so I need to move on. He was such a beautiful boy. Very unusual pale brown swirl tabby markings. He had been in a big growing streak, shooting up, lean and tall. He would have been a huge cat, yet he was still a kitten, really, seven months of age or so, with kittenish ways and a kitten meow.
I talked to the Neuterscooter vet about the death and she said such sudden deaths with male cats are most often caused by urinary blockage, even young males. I hope that is not how he died, because that takes 24 hours or more and is extremely painful. I very much hope he did not die that way. The other cause is often a congenital heart defect that grows with the cat or defects like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, something like that. I get the technical names wrong or slightly wrong quite often.
I'm quite joint swollen and very sore today with back spasms and knee spasms and knee popping noises and swelling, but I hope I will recover. My finger joints are swollen from repetitive use and lack of rest too, and quite painful. But oh well. Was worth this pain, I think.
The Corvallis UFO photos were an April Fools Day hoax. I used to love doing such shenanigans on April Fools day and this year, I forget even the date due to exhaustion. Missed a fun holiday, the best, in my opinion. Jokes and humor---love such stuff.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
