I went to court over the parking ticket today. Nice judge. I plead guilty and the fine was reduced to $35 with all of it but $5 suspended. So I paid the $5. He also told me to go ahead and park there briefly, with flashers on, to return the other three cats and to take the donated cat food back into the camps. He said if I get ticketed doing so to come see him.
He asked if the bags of food I had for Richard were cat food or human food. I had replied "cat food. He asked me for some." Richard did ask me to find him some. As for human food, they eat better than I do. The first time I was in there, he had ten pounds or so of roast beef, so much of it, that he was feeding some to the cats.
The second time I was in, he and a couple of buddies were eating steak. I couldn't believe it. I meant to ask him how he finds or gets all this fancy food. He too is on disability and gets the same amount of money I do. He gets more than I do in food stamps. So he does ok, that is, if he didn't have addictions to pay to support and that's huge.
So, I will get the cats fixed he wanted fixed and find him cat food, and I've got some cans of soup for him, but he's got more money than I do. Pretty funny, huh?
No luck so far on the seed warehouse cat. Did catch the senior complex female. Everybody's spooked out there from the storm, I guess.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
