Spits grabbed a piece of chicken this morning and then, boy, he wasn't going to give it up for anything.
Spits is one of three feral kittens I am fostering/taming for SafeHaven.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

It's hard to say "no, you can't have my chicken" when your mouth is full...when the sound came on of Spits mrrrrrrring my two females ran away but Speedy, who is kitten mad, rubbed his head on the speaker and mrrrrd back, as if reassuring the kitten that he could keep the chicken.
ReplyDeleteThe kitten is funny. He doesn't do this at all with regular cat food, only with the chicken, which he actually stole from the mom with the four kittens. I have her rabbit hutch open now, so she can get in and out, although the kittens can't. But Spits decided to go on there, when she was out and steal her chicken, which is hysterical. She was very tolerant of his theft.
