What a great evening I had.
She's caught!! That final Siamese out there along that rural road.
I took the drop trap. I had to add extra lengths of cord I had it set up so far from me.
I couldn't believe it when she emerged from the brush and went right under it. I yanked that cord with confidence. I knew it was the night.
She's already fixed. I caught her last July and got her fixed at Radpets and she would not have gone back then except she was lactating.
All's well that ends well. Now she can get a barn home with her colony mate Roadie, who has been patiently waiting in the garage. SCR is on it!

Hooray! You finally got her, and what a beauty she is. I am sure her new barn home will suit her well.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy. Hopefully her and Roadie can go soon to barn home together. She's already fixed so that speeds it up.
DeleteSatisfying, I am sure, to get the last cat at a location.
ReplyDeleteIt is. Don't have to worry about that lone kitty out there unfed anymore.
DeleteI love her very muted Siamese colors
ReplyDeleteshe's a quite beauitful lynx point. Her mom was a calico, who vanished.
DeleteWonderful! You're awesome. :D Hugs, my dear.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for the kind words regarding Dandelion's boo boo. I haven't gotten a look at it, afraid of needlessly stressing her. It's an adventure whenever the insides of her ears need cleaned. lol As for the color of the matting, it looks a lot like the pomegranate syrup I put in my fruit smoothies. I wish that were the case but she's continuing to thrive, currently drowsing nearby.
That's good. Hope she's ok but sounds like she is.
DeleteOh, nice. If only she knew you were going to bring her back to her pal. She might not have been so hard to catch.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how bonded they are. They certainly are from the same place. She was easy to see out there, when I was trying to catch her. Him, being darker and shyer, not so much. I now think Eleven, the tame one, is much more likely a homeless camp caste off than an outright dump, since the homeless are being forced out, due to trashing the area. Homeless folk often leave animals behind when they leave.
DeleteThat is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteFantastic news.
