A couple of turkeys take a stroll on a sunny day in Lebanon.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

That is something I cannot imagine ever seeing here.
ReplyDeleteThat's sad. Everyone should get to see turkeys out for a stroll.
DeleteAt least they're on the sidewalk ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was so funny to see. I was dropping off some cat food and they just strolled by, like they were taking a walk on a nice day. Nobody paid them any attention, like its just normal.
DeleteThey look pretty relaxed with November being such a long time away.
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteHere on the east coast, wild turkey's used to be rarely seen. Now they are more common. Do you see many wild turkeys in Oregon? Was this stroll about town by these two a unique situation?
ReplyDeleteNo, its not unique. Lebanon is known for the in town wild turkey population. They are everywhere here. I once returned a cat and a male turkey stormed me before I got to the porch and the lady yelled out the door, there's a broom there for that. So I fended him off with the broom while I got to the porch and door and inside to return the cat.
DeleteWow! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt was funny!
