Tball

I caught Tball at the park last night.  He's the boy kitten.  His sister, the torti, wasn't around.

She and he are not hanging out together anymore.  They're four months old by now.

Anyhow I caught Tball fairly quickly, which was a very good thing.  I forgot how horribly the time change limits evening daylight.  By 5:00 at was dark and by 5:15 pitch dark.  I'd forgotten my good flashlight.

So I put my headlights on the trap left set so I could find it, and retrieved it from the darkness.   Came home.

I left Tball in a trap at my feet while I watched TV, hoping his sis, Misha, would take note and come on down.  She is a goofball, full of character and fun loving!  His sister saw him, because he was crying but then just took a nap herself and resumed play.

Tball then went into the bathroom, where he got flea treatment and wormer.  Today he'll get a  vaccine booster.   He's so sweet, likes to be held, and is quite vocal too.   He has that soft long hair cuddley charm to him.   He's taming so fast.  He was last in my bathroom mid September, after his neuter.

I am convinced he will make someone an excellent loving companion but finding that someone---well that's the challenge.

He needs a new name, too.  Suggestions?

Mate. I don't think you've ever called a cat Mate.

    1. No, have never named a cat Mate. I'd need to throw an Australian accent to it, or people might think its a verb I'm saying, a demand. Mate, you bugger. When I"m all about not mating and making sure mating is not going to happen.

    2. Oh, that is a fun video. For Tball, the name Tyrus popped out at me.

I hope he gets a great home. Thank you for rescuing him. ~hugs~

    3. I think I'll just not rename him, since its true what L and L pointed out, that his new home people will just rename him. I sure hope I can find him a good home. Tyrus is a cute but noble sounding name. Where did you come up with that? Is it historical or in a piece of fiction you know?
