The air is so bad in Albany this morning. It's not breathable air.
But wait.....
YAHOO!!!!
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
Official appointments end today!!! Summer off! Today, seven Brownsville cats are being fixed two clinics. Three are leftovers from the 11 ...
WONDERFUL news.
ReplyDeleteI have been worrying about you, about Snow and about several other bloggers in the area. I hope there is sufficient moisture to bring those fires firmly under control.
Hope soon skies will clear. The fires, they say, will likely burn at least til the end of October, most of them, to some degree.
DeleteHurray for good news!
ReplyDeleteThe air in my house is at its gagging worst today (particulate levels are currently over 500), so I'm wondering if your moisture is from dew. I've been wondering how you're doing, and hoping that your distance from the massive Holiday Farm Fire (Holiday Farm is--or was--a Christmas Tree farm) has provided you with better conditions.
ReplyDeleteWe had what the sheriffs office call good old smog, mix of fog and smoke and ash, this morning, but it deteriorated into smoke and ash quickly. My brother looked up Albany's air quality and said it was somewhere over 400 when we talked. I've been mostly just sleeping inside, not going out. I have a couple box fans with hepa filters and fortunately had them going months ago here, to help with dust and cat hair.
DeleteSo good to see. We hope it has all ended now.
ReplyDeleteWell it hasn't ended. Air quality was extremely bad today, so bad I never left my place. Am hoping tomorrow maybe the smoke will move out some. The fires are no longer advancing towards cities, at least, but many are still at zero percent containment.
DeleteI'm doing a happy dance in your honor.
