I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

SafeHaven Takes in Trailer Park 8
Safehaven took in all 8 of these kittens.
These six newborns and their mom desperately need a safe dry foster situation.
SafeHaven thankfully took in the 8 kittens left at the old woman's place in the trailer park. I got a call yesterday about this situation. The old woman feeds six adult unfixed females and four adult unfixed males. Three of the females already litters while a fourth was having kittens as I spoke to her on the phone. She'd given away two of the older kittens already.
I stopped by and took photos of the kittens: three tortis, one torbi, a muted calico, an all gray, a brown tabby tux and an orange tabby tux. Six females, two males. I e-mailed the photos to SafeHaven and they agreed to take all 8. They also donated a dog bed igloo, so the mom with newborns could get out of the soggy carboard box she was nursing her six just borns in on the leaking porch of the old trailer. I took it back right away, after dropping off the 8 kittens, and set it up on the porch, donating my car blanket as bedding.
The old woman fears the other cats will oust teen moms newborns and take over the luxery living bed for themselves.
