Click post title to go to brief story about a missing 68 year old Corvallis woman. She is a biker and hiker. Her bike was found about 8:00 p.m. in Mac Forest NW of Corvallis. Mac Forest is a popular recreation area with Corvallis residents. I used to hike in Mac Forest when I lived in Corvallis. It is accessed from Oak Creek road to the south and from Soap Creek Road, to the north. I believe Chip Ross park trails now intersect at Chip Ross's west end, with Mac Forest trails.
I wonder what happened to her. Surely they would say if they found cougar tracks nearby. I wonder if she fell off her bike and got hurt, then tried to walk out. The trails can be confusing but not to those who use them frequently. I hope no foul play was involved.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
