This person states that she called local vets who said someone brought in stray cats to be fixed then dumped them around town, these two white cats they fed, abandoning one when they moved, included.
Now what a pile of crock. What veterinarian would tell a person such a thing, or be told such a thing by a cat dumper who allegedly pays for them to not only be fixed but also vaccinated before "dumping them around town"? And like there are not a ton of white cats in Albany. So this person's story is totally messed up unless I am unaware of somebody going around picking up strays, getting them fixed at Albany vets, then dumping cats in Albany or rather "around town". My guess is both cats were their cats and they are looking to divert blame for abandoning the male and now wanting to rid themselves of the girl, too. Very sad.
GORGEOUS WHITE CAT WITH BLUE EYES (ALBANY)

"Missy" has been hanging around our house and we have been feeding her since November. The kids love her and she is very friendly. She is completely white with beautiful blue eyes. She has been spayed, is litter trained and loves being an inside & outside cat.
When "Missy" and her brother showed up, I called all the veterinary clinics in Albany and was informed that someone has recently brought in a bunch of stray felines to be spayed and neutered and then dumped off around town. As I described the animals to the technician he recognized them as part of one of the litters that had been brought in. They had been vaccinated in addition to the spay/neuter.
We just moved from the old house to a brand new house and cannot keep "Missy". We did bring her to the new house with us since we had been feeding her and that wouldn't be right to just leave her there with no food or companionship after having her around for the past 4 months.
If you can find a place for "Missy" in your family, please call us and come take her home with your family.
This is a picture that I found that looks just like her. THIS IS NOT HER "Missy" does not have a black speck on her nose. But other than the black speck on the nose, she looks just like this!!!
Please call evenings between 5 pm & 8pm if you want "Missy" to be a part of your family!!!
Here is another very sad craigslist post. She picked him out special when he was seven weeks, and now at ten months, she wants rid of him. It's so sad.
Beautiful Siamese mix (corvallis)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Neo is a 10 month old Siamese mix male. I have had him since he was 7 weeks old, picked him out at birth but due to having a new baby I havent had the time he needs anymore and he isn't happy with me anymore. Litter box trained, great with kids (we have a 6, 7, and 8 yr old), fine around babies and a lover. I have a huge brand new bag of cat food, pet carrier and litter box. Asking $35 re-homing fee. Please give him the home he needs.

I have a lovely long haired silver cat and will give her to an approved home only for a re-homing fee of $35. She would be a great barn cat and probably would do better outside. I have her inside most of the time, but with all that hair she gets hots. Email me if you are interested. I am moving and can't take her with me.
Long haired cats are miserable as barn cats. They need brushed, preferably clipped in the summer, and a lot of care, not to be turned out in a barn. I added the sentence. Just makes me sad for that poor cat and her future.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
