Peko got a home yesterday with a young couple intent on marraige. It was very cute indeed. He had come over a week before to see the kittens, then had me take photos of him, with Peko and with Miato, to show his fiancee. She fell in love with Peko.
But, in the spirit of Valentine's Day, the young man told his love that, alas, I was forced to take all the kittens to the humane society and Peko was no longer available. His lie was to set up the surprise of bringing Peko home to her yesterday. He arrrived here on time and Peko went home with him. Later, he e-mailed to say his Valentine loves Peko. Good luck, Peko, and good luck to these two very nice young adults in their lives together.
Oh, and it was this man, who adopted Peko, who is a student in computer science, who told me, after I showed him the skewed out photos on my monitor, that I need to increase monitor resolution, which I did, and the aspect ratio is fine. It had been suggested to me in a forum that I needed to decrease resolution, not increase. Although, it is somewhat hard to get used to the smaller size of everything on the screen. I switch the resolution back and forth now, to suite what I'm doing. Aspect ratio problem in viewing my photos is solved and Peko got a home, in one fell swoop! Thank you, Anthony!
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
