Sophie is Found!

Sophie's owner called me to tell me they brought Sohpie home yesterday afternoon. She was up north of the rest area, where there is also a little park. Someone called her to tell her they'd seen her up there and they went down immediately. Sure enough, there she was. She ran back into the briars when they tried to get her to come to them, but was coaxed out for food, in about 15 minutes.

Yahoo! Woopee for Sophie. She's back home.

  1. Hooray!!! So good to hear this :). Thanks for trying so much, Jodi...maybe your dedication and constant emphasis on how important it was to find Sophie helped, and even if it didn't do so directly, you're an angel for trying so hard.

    Here's to you and Sophie!!

I am sooooo happy i could burst...and thanks to Sophie - you saved some other cats from death...little Feather, for one. How is she doing by the way? I hope Sophie's owners appreciated the time you took all week long during the holidays no less to look for their baby. by the by, my poppa donation of twenty will be made tonight...

  4. Amazing!
So nice to hear the good news!!..In a world full of bad, this small incident is far more important than a bunch of unemployed, bored men,in any country, acting up and throwing sticks and rocks.
Having lost a couple of cats over the years, and never knowing what became of them,it's so nice to hear when the "Lost Cat" poster has a happy ending.
It also goes to show you how smart some siamese can be...keeping hidden, until the exact moment presents itself for rescue..back in the arms of love..
    Bravo!

  5. I'm really really happy too. Relieved. And little Feather, the kitten, the whole saved her life. Suzy's too. She's the black adult female, going to a barn home hopefully tomorrow. There are lots of nice cats there. Big Gray Hulk is going, too. He's no trouble at all, a nice guy. I like to hold the big males awhile, however, after neuter, before placing them in a barn home. Otherwise, they run off or cause trouble with the other cats.
