I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
The big ugly, that's what I call the budget bill just passed by our lovely regime. It guts food assistance, housing and low income medi...
What beautiful cats.
ReplyDeleteBlizz looks very like my Angel, who is the most loving sweetheart of a cat, though more 'disreputable' looking than blizz :).
Do you know the difference between a ragdoll and a siberian? I've never really thought about what Angel might be, but got curious when I saw your description of Blizz and googled it a bit. Both seal lynx point ragdolls and siberians look like Angel...he has medium long hair.
PS: Angel is a lot darker, esp. the body. I don't usually care about breed, as am a really big supporter of mixed breeds (way too many animals left without homes and overbred cos of people's obsession with specific breeds).
ReplyDeleteHi Jody!
ReplyDeleteMy email address changed this week and after that I emailed you about Tilley. Haven't heard from you so am wondering if my email was caught in your spam blocker. This happened to a couple of other people. Anyway, my address is Melodie@wvi.com. What adorable kitties!
I'm sorry for the flooding. I hadn't heard about it.
ReplyDeleteExcept, Snowbrush, I know where she is now, if she's alive. I should have known, but I hadn't been there in daylight. She's on the north bound side, if still alive, and I know where. I'm too tired to go up tonight. Maybe tomorrow night. If she's still alive, I know where she will be. The black came from there, that first night, but I never saw it in the dark, never even knew it was there. Gawking at the flooding I saw it. Now I know. If she's alive, I know where to find her. I know where she'll be.
ReplyDeleteI so hope you find her Jody...that would be a wonderful ending for this sad, tragic tale so far...
ReplyDeleteYou saw Phoebe???? I'll pray that you catch her. If anyone can, it's you.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see her, just figured out where she would be, if still alive, where the other cats hang out for shelter, which might make sense as to why she'd only come around the corner to the south bound side about 3:00 a.m. If I'm right, I should have been on the other side. She may not be alive, I know, but I know where to set a trap now.
