They just released a photo of the guy they thinked bombed the bank in Woodburn, killing two police officers and badly injuring another. I wonder why he would target a bank, initially the Woodburn Wells Fargo, but then the bomb was placed in the bushes beside another community bank nearby.
Couldn't he get close enough, in the end, to his chosen target? Did he then try to lose the bomb nearby, or was that second bank his real target and the call to Wells Fargo just a decoy, to give him a chance to locate it somewhere else?
That's like a grudge against a bank, or a bank employee, but sounds more like something happened between maybe him and Wells Fargo. Lose his house? His business? Couldn't get loans to keep a business running? Have a business loan or mortgage through Wells Fargo?
I don't know, but that was a chosen target for a reason, I suppose.
They said he bought cell phones used in the bombing in Bend in November and was seen in Salem and Woodburn in the days before the bombing. I wonder if he triggered it with a cell phone call or something. He probably bought burner phones in Bend to use. He called in a bomb threat to Wells Fargo. I wonder what he said. He looks like a beaten down angry man, in the photos.
They said he has skills in both electronics and in welding and that he is considered extremely dangerous.
I wonder what set him off, to do such a thing, to go that far, to kill people. I wonder who he is going to kill next. He'll do it again, I bet, if they don't catch him. Because he went over the brink and beyond and there's no turning back and he must know that. He killed cops. That's a death sentence. They'll hunt him down.
But he didn't hide his identity very much, walking past video cameras he must have realized were there. So it's almost like he knew he'd likely get seen and he didn't care. I wonder why.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
