Soda's Beautiful New Name and The Grinch Next Door

Soda's adopter has given her a new name, and it is very beautiful--Sophie Snowflake. Isn't that just precious?

While the old man next door was gone today, I raked his backyard leaves up. He came home and I was outside, trying to put up some homemade Christmas decorations. He couldn't help himself. He came right over to make fun of them. Then he asked if I was the one who raked his leaves. I was hurt by his stinging comments about the decorations and said "NO, wasn't me." Then I came inside.

I decided to just put up my decorations in the house. I can enjoy them. Screw the old mean Scrooge next door. He can rot in his discontent. I strung the lights all over inside, back and forth and they are so beautiful, when i turn the regular lights out and only use those for light.

why not put up a big homemade GRINCH on his house???? I bet the decorations looked just fine - probably more than most your neighbors do.....I always put out the stuff my kids made when they were little and I still put the same things out every year...the homemade ones are always the nicest.
I bet the cats love the coloured lights, don't they?
Now don't forget, when you get your Christmas package from me DO NOT OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS MORNING...because it's against the law to do otherwise....
and i love soda's new name - but i also loved the name soda - so nowyou'll need a "diet soda" lol....

  3. I can't wait til Christmas morning, to open it! I am like a kid that way. My brother sent me a big box once, and I just couldn't stand it. He sent me a raincoat and some pajamas. Then I sat there in my new pajamas with the raincoat on and wrapping paper all over.

Good....I will be mailing it out to you on the 20th using at least two day delivery so you get it right before christmas...that was neat that your brother did that once - think he'll remember you this year, too?
the way i see it - everyone should have something to open on Christmas morning....
