The Corvallis Bottle Babes Update

If any of you readers remember the bottle babes, of last summer, who were found by a Salbastgeon Suites employee in the brush outside a window of that hotel over in Corvallis. They were crawling in fleas and I tried for hours to find and catch their mom, but failed. I brought them home and one female died that night. They were terribly dehydrated and flea anemic.

I bottle fed them for a couple of weeks. Then, I got a foster offer, and jumped at that! I have had zero volunteer help since I lost my one fosterer earlier in the year, after she fostered three feral kittens. That was it for her. So this was like a big fireworks event going off, and I was jumping inside, like I'd had five cups of espresso. "I have a volunteer again!"

But it didn't last. Because, guess what? The fosterer fell in love with her fosterees and kept all three. Of course I was very happy for the bottle babes and for me, too. I wouldn't have to find homes for them. I'm not good at that. And they are now living in like the Mother of all Good Homes! But, I no longer have a fosterer. But, Beanie, Flower and Sunshine got a great home out of the deal. They're already even fixed.

From humble origins to loved beautiful lives---I give you, the former Bottle Babes of Corvallis, then and now.The bottle babes with the other cat in their house.
