I saw this post on craigslist and wonder if its a snake person, looking for free snake food. Sometimes snake people will advertise as looking for a very young kitten, to feed to their snakes. One time, an Albany man contacted me wanting to take in bottle babies. I had posted about taking in a feral mom with her newborn babies, and was hoping to find a fosterer, for all of them. Finally. when I told him I would not consider giving him the newborns, as they were far too young to be away from their mother, he said "heck, he'd take the mother, too". Why did I suspect a snake person? It was obvious in his reply to me, when I asked why he wanted kittens so young.

I'm looking to give a kitten a wonderful home in Albany. No cats please, rescues would be great, even young enough to have to bottle feed is okay. Send me some pics and let me know what you have. No adoption fees please. Thanks.

Replace cats/kittens in his ad with children....and you probably have a pedophile....so I wouldn't trust anyone like that with teeny kittens either. of course recues are great - they are generally not purebreds and won't be missed by anyone in particular - probably no follow up calls.
