About the Nine Cats Fixed Today

Five were females and four were males. Of the three from Berlin Road, two were females and one a male. Of the five from the 34th St. Baptist colony, three were males and two were females. Then there was the Corvallis female.

I trapped two more of the trailer park colony kittens today. I didn't catch the other two. Of the nine kittens there, four still remained needing caught and fixed. I caught two of them. I also caught the black male, using the drop trap. The old woman took in the tame muted calico adult, who is very beautiful, and once, somewhere, was owned. She's been feeding her for over a month and decided just to adopt her, after she was fixed. She also took the little torti kitten inside, to be her cat. That torti kitten is cute as a button.

Those three from the trailer colony, the two kittens and the adult male, will be fixed tomorrow, along with four kittens from Berliny Bunch colony, one kitten from the 34th St. Baptist colony and the pocket kitten, from the Vine street colony, who is now over four pounds. Nine more cats, in other words, will be fixed tomorrow. 18 cats in two days and my funding for the month is pretty much used up with these, and the ones I will be getting done Wednesday.

Here's a slight gripe: The city for some reason discontinued their leaf pickup contract with the garbage company. Leaf pickup, by city of Albany crews, was to begin last week. This block and many others around the area, probably all over the city, faithfully piled tons of leaves along the streets for pickup. Unfortunately, no leaves piled along streets in these parts have been picked up at all. So leaves are piled everywhere and the city isn't really picking them up that I am aware of, or, if doing so, they're doing so at a snails pace.
