I've had stomach problems for over a year, sometimes severe. The problem has been severe again for about two weeks, until today, I feel like vomiting and my poop is almost white.
I hate going to the doctor but I'm going. I don't know why I have such stomach issues. I think about pancreatic issues and hope I don't have pancreatic cancer or something real fatal. I think about gall bladdar issues, too.
At times like this, I miss my old doctor, who quit a year ago and took another job in another state. I liked him and trusted him. I don't know my new PCP very well, but she seems nice. However, I was told she is on vacation so I'll be seeing whomever is covering for her.
My stomach problems began in earnest after my hysterectomy. But I don't know if it's related. I really don't have a day in my life now where I feel ok, or normal, digestion wise that is. My stomach issues went ballistic after the move to Albany. Part of it has been the chlorine issue with the water. I have an extreme sensitivity to chlorine and the water here is highly chlorinated. You can even smell the chlorine when you turn on a hose outside. I need to get bottled water again or some filter.
I try to let the water I drink sit for 24 hours or more before I drink it, so the chlorine can dissipate but I rarely remember.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
