Click post title to go to story about a hiker "mistaken for a bear" by a kid out hunting bear with adults. Yeah, that's a real easy mistake to make. 54 year old woman. Bear. They look so much alike.
These are people who shoot at anything that moves, like the Veneta man who saw movement in the brush and fired from his truck and hit a college student, leaving him barely functioning. Most of these people never take responsibility for what they did, or are called to justice by our criminal justice system.
They call it "accidental shooting" when in fact, these are stupidity shootings and these people, if they're going to be out there among us, with dangerous weapons, need to be charged with negligant homicide and jailed. Nobody should be in danger of death by gunshot when out taking a hike.
People don't look anything like bears. Again, these are idiots with guns who shoot at anything that moves. They do not take their brains with them. Or, they don't have brains.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
