I took 22 cats to the Neuterscooter Clinic

I took in 22 cats to the Neuterscooter clinic today, more than came in from the general public. 20 were from one place in Lebanon, a woman trying to care for the caste offs from a low income apartment complex next to her. She's a saint, and that complex should be closed down. So, of the 22 I took in, 16 were females.

Guess what? I caught the last kitten at the Vanman colony, another gray male.

And, after picking up the 20 cats in Lebanon, 18 of them kittens, she housed last night in a storage closet, the only place she had available, I stopped in at the BS, in hopes maybe, just maybe I would have caught the last starvation kitten.

And I did. Brown tabby on white, little girl, in extremely poor shape, too. The vet hopes she lives but has her doubts she will, due to her state of extreme starvation and worm infestations.

That finishes two situations however.

At the Albany old couple colony, I trapped five, all four kittens and that male. He took the four kittens in on SafeHaven vouchers and I took the male to the NS clinic yesterday. That leaves mom. So, a whole lot of productive trapping going on, that's for sure.

I'm hot but happy. And now I need to adopt out some kittens. Seriously!

  3. I couldn't get out of work today to get over to the fairgrounds. How is she doing? I feel so bad for her. She and her brothers deserve tons of love.

  5. Thank you, Diane. I need to find some kittens some homes. I have a line on a possible home for Robinhood, the big male dumped at the Waverly duplex.
